CRESTON – First National Bank in Creston announced today it has entered into an Agreement to purchase Century Bank, located in Shenandoah, Iowa. The purchase is subject to regulatory approval.

The First National Bank mortgage team received a surprise visit last week. On Wednesday, mortgage lenders Emily Rice and Jenna Greene received a Silver Unit Achievement Award from Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation (IBMC). This award, hand delivered by management with IBMC, was given to First National Bank for closing the second most Heritage loans through IBMC in 2018.
