Want some help making your post-harvest marketing decisions?

Good news! First National Bank in Creston and Afton will be sponsoring an informative education program “Launch and Land Your Post-Harvest Marketing Plan: Winning the Game” at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 in room 180 at Southwestern Community College in Creston.

This workshop, delivered by Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, examines six marketing plans and allows participants to learn about marketing techniques including seasonal price patterns, carrying charges and the risk of holding unpriced grain in storage.  Join us as the workshop challenges you execute a marketing plan in a realistic simulation game.

Here are some comments from past “Winning the Game” participants:

  • “Easy to understand. It smacks with “common sense.” I’d attend again.”
  • “Very informative. One of the best meetings I have ever been to.”
  • “A very valuable learning experience well-constructed and well presented. Thanks again.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance grain-marketing skills and learn risk management. A light meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. with a program to follow at 6 p.m.

We are offering you this special invitation to attend and space is limited, so register at https://bit.ly/2ImsPGy or call your banker at First National Bank at 877-782-2195.
