What is a VA Mortgage*?
VA loans are home mortgages that were established by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to assist veterans and their families in obtaining home financing. Eligible service members and veterans are able to buy a home with little or no down payment since the loans are backed by the VA.
As an approved VA mortgage lender, we work with them in determining who qualifies for a VA loan based on the criteria provided to us by the VA.
