“Money Talk” financial course begins March 2 in Creston

A financial course for women called “Money Talk” will begin 6:30 p.m. March 2 at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.
In this 5-session course, local professionals will help you better understand how to prepare a will, .png)
plan for retirement, set financial goals, review your insurance needs and deal with financial issues from marriage, divorce or death of a spouse. First National Bank is one of three businesses sponsoring the “Money Talk" event.
“You don’t want to miss this opportunity to get started on the right path,” said Staci Heaberlin, branch manager at First National Bank in Afton and part of the “Money Talk” steering committee. “This is a fun, interactive course where you’ll learn how to manage your finances and reach your goals with confidence.”
Dates for the classes are on Thurdays March 2, March 9, March 16, March 30 and April 6 in Greater Regional’s Medical Arts Plaza (MAP) conference room. Each class is scheduled for 2 hours (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.).
This course is organized annually by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Speakers this year include Katie Turner from American Family Insurance, Financial Advisor Greg Driskell of Raymond James Financial, Attorney and Senior Trust Officer Skip Kenyon of Iowa State Savings Bank and Sandra McKinnon of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
